Education is the bedrock, out of the pillar that holds a Nation: A Nation that fails to Understands that is no doubt a failed Nation.__Filometer 2020

You would recall that I wrote an article on this, showing us how Education has contributed to the Liberation of our Dear Country from the hand of her colonial master.
Education plays a very critical role in deciding growth of nation. Educated citizens of the country brings fame, wealth and prosperity to the country which help in development of a country. Thus, educated people are united by the sense of thinking, by the sense of right and wrong. Education helps in dream building.

Education empowers people with the knowledge, skills and values they need to build a better world. The belief that quality education can help reduce poverty and inequality comes from a recognition that education is a basic human right—similar to food and shelter—and that it is vital to protecting human dignity.
It is equally true that there was an increase in population and expansion of the facilities at all levels of education in the country. The facilities became over stretched and more are required to make the desired impact. It is equally true that the management and maintenance of these facilities are capital intensive, which the government alone can not bear now. There is the need therefore to mobilize the various segments of the society to complement the efforts of government towards realizing the goals set in the national policy.Many educationists have continued to question the sincerity of government in its determination to forge the country’s education system ahead, viewing from the continued decrease in government budgetary allocation to the sector over the years. Further misgiving son the quality of supervision by the various tiers of government remained unclear and much is needed to convince the public about the seriousness of government in this regard.It is equally disheartening to observe that capital projects in the education sector are not being giving immediate attention. There are no visible plans to expand the already overstretched facilities in all the levels of education well. Instead, much emphasis is now laid on the development of roads, rural electrification, polio eradication and so on. This does not posit that developments in these sectors are worthless. Rather, they should be considered secondary to the development of education, which is primarily concerned with the development of all the faculties of man, his attitudes and skills. Of what significance is life when illiteracy, hunger, disease and general under development are the ugly faces of our lives? Where will Nigeria be tomorrow if its educational system remains enshambles, incoherent, uncoordinated and unfounded today? Another major setback to the realization of the goals of the national policy is the corrupt tendencies of some officials, who will divert or make useless the allocations made to the sector. In the end, the money appropriated for education will not be spent for the purpose it was budgeted.
The ASUP and ASUU are not being truthful,. You're not doing this because of the Students, you're doing it because you don't know how to explain the reason why the school MEDICAL CENTERS are in Dilapidated condition. You can't explain why you have squandered the money meant to buy Facilities into the Madical centers. You brood of Vipers.
Those who enjoyed adequate Education FREELY given to them by AWOLOWO, are the one making Education a Hidden treasure for us now, They've made it so difficult for our Parents to even believe in that Education, how that, some parents can't entrust their children to study again.
How well do you want the Nation to be, when those governing it only attended Military College, all they were taught was how to fight and win a war, forgetting the war in the world is not conquer by Ammunition but by INTELLIGENCE.
We all understand we're facing a common enemy which is COVID-19, but a wise and sound government won't lockdown it's SCHOOLS and open Market places. Who are they protecting?
The children you claim you're protesting, their parents are going to market day-by-day. It is unwise of the FG to put the school on shut down.
These are glories of the NATION that you're truncating their Future. The minister of Education should note that, you only have a Future now, because you were allowed into school to learn the ethics.
Being educated equips you with knowledge and it opens your mind to new ways of thinking. School is where you sharpen the skills that you have and learn more skills so you are ready to offer the world better. Education enlightens you and inspires you to desire more through the knowledge you obtain. But here in my country SCHOOLS are CLOSED yet MARKET PLACES are opened. I wonder if the Virus can't be contacted in the Market places or WHO ARE YOU PROTECTING? The parents or the Children?
They kept on Reducing Allocations budgeted for EDUCATION SECTOR every year,. What kind of Government does that? 🤔🤔🤔.

The Government should RE-OPEN our Schools, we want to learn new Inventions to Make the world a better place. We want to solve the Problem of the world, don't Cage our Future.
